Example now that John Karr is a non issue they should stop reporting on him, but they haven't.Also they keep reporting on the anniversary of Katrina. What, is it a slow news week? Would you rather hear about something that is really news or would you rather them run it into the ground?

I am asking this question because of the postman who has been suspended because he gave advice on how to stop junk mail being pushed through your letterbox. He could lose his job because the postoffice would lose revenue if it stopped

My city is experiencing Stage 2 water restrictions.
Could you please explain the following?

1. What the Aquifer level has to be for each stage to take affect.
2. What each stage-limit entails.
3. Do restrictions differ from state-to-state?
4. Is it a necessity to water your yard, other than it looking nice? Does it mess with foundation(or whatever)?
5. How many stages are there?
6. Can the aquifer run completely out of water? What would you do then?

P.S: I posted this in Home&Garden, 1 person answered, not much info...didn't know where else to post. sorry...

That man is getting on my nerves that nasty little pervert. He should be highly ashamed of himself. Jonbenet was a little 6 year girl he is just wrong for doing what he did. That man is nuts and she know and he is an idoit too. I've never been so disgusted in my life with someone I don't even know.

The thing that i don't understand about this whole case is, they let him go because the dna didn't match, but in all of karrs statements he always said he was there when she died and is was an acciedent, but what if someone eles was there with him, that could be the other persons dna. When someone comes out and gives details like the ones he gave, the police even said that he gave details about the murder that were never relased to the public, he must have been there. Just because the dna doesn't match doesn't mean he wasn't there. What do you guys think about this whole case? Who ever was in charge really need to get there head out of there butt, because sending him back to the US, just got him off on the charges he was going to get in Thiland, and a free ride home!!!!!!

I am in Florida and am bracing for Ernesto. We have had ample warning and if anyone is not ready for it, they it is their fault.

in reflecting on Katrina, I am not sure we gave the people of NO the same opportunities. I hate to pull out the race card, but it would seem that a hint of old school thinking was at hand, not so much in the terms of Black and Whites, as it is more of the rich and the poor. So my question is this, do you think that a year later, we have done all we could for the victims and also to prevent further incidents like this across America?

Here is the text:
Events in the late 1960s and early 1970s, most obiviously the Vietnam War and the Watergate scandal, jolted the country with doubts and insecurities and created fundamental divisions among Amricans about thier countrys goals. The mainstream Protestant values which had held society together seemed to be collapsing, and no coherent, unifying system of belief emerged as an alternative. The 1980s saw a return to conservative family value and morals, as well as a renewal of national pride. The ultimate significantce, however, of this conservative revival is uncertain. Some critics observe that with the breakdown of consensus on beliefs and valus which began around 1970, there has been increasing disparity of opinion about Americans values and national goals.
plzzzzzzzzz telll me the meaning of this text in a easy way. Thanks

I know that a lot of people can remember exactly what they were doing the moment they heard the first plane hit the tower. I remember I was managing at a hotel at the time, and flights were cancelled or diverted, and we had a lot of airline crew and distressed passangers staying at our hotel.
And the only thing they kept saying was how mad they were that the flight was cancelled. Some of them were laughing (not about the accident), but it was really crass of them to be so cold-hearted.
But what were you doing that day, or how did you react when you saw it?

I thought it was good at first that she was honest about her affair with Scott, but I think that when she wrote a book and capitlized off of what happend, she turned to scum in my book.
I think she was the jilted lover, who fell fast and hard for this 'cad'...even though they had only dated a few times. I think during her phone calls with him, she also was talking to him for her own personal reasons, because she thought she was in love with him. It is noted in some of the media that she didn't record all of the conversations she has with Scott.

and unborn child? I know this is old news, but I just read a book by Catherine Crier, and was wondering if people believe in his guilt and think that he did in fact kill Laci and Connor.
What is your opinion?

Everywhere i get a glimpse of Jonbenet, she's all dressed and dolled up, winning all beauty pageants possible, sometimes in strapless gowns, swimsuits, etc. some very revealing pictures of hers. I mean, i feel sorry for her death, feel sorry for her parents as well, but at the back of my mind, whenevr i look at her picture, and i thought to myself, Gosh she's gorgoeus, prettier than any 6-year-old (or YOUNGER!!!) than i've seen, in that makeup, ball gowns & all that, but she (or her parents) r really 'inviting' something, if u know what i mean...

Im no big fan of Karr, i think he's creepy. But Jonbenet's parents have to take in some responsibilities as well. She was dressing up like a 18-year-old Miss Universe, i'm female/perfectly straight, still, i think she's hot for a 6-year-old

I wouldnt dress my daughters up like that, i cant bear any grownups (male) ogling at my babies
Just wanna know whats ur thoughts on this./..

I felt really bad for everyone there when it happened.
And I still feel bad for those who lost loved ones,
But at this point, I think the only people who havent' gotten on with their lives were the former residents of "welfare heaven" who are just angry that the jig is up.
