Help! I was spraying the garden with high pressured water, and i didn't realize it but I knocked off a whole bunch of these beautiful flower petals. I know they will grow back but I want to repay them. I feel bad, and I want to give it something, or help it. What can I do?

I have a colorado blue spruce that is about 4 feet high and the needles at the top foot of it turned brown then fell off. It seems like it is starting to travel down the tree more but I don't see any bugs on the tree. The rest of the tree looks great and has new growth and has even shot up in height this spring. Please help, I don't want my tree to die. What can I do to help it?

We moved into a house that already had tulips planted and we ended up with large leaves and no blossoms. We dug them up and replanted them and had a few blossoms. This third year we ended up with large leaves and no blossoms again. They are on the west side of the house.

I have regular houseplants out front as usual and this year I seem to have the worse time with the squirrels! They keep uprooting my flowering plants out of their pots and making me mad!

What natural things can I do/use to keep them away?

I planted cantelope, honeydew, watermelon and pumpkin seeds and I think they are growing but they aren't in the straight lines I planted them in. The ones I think are the melons are about 4" tall with 2 branches coming off the main trunk.

I have a badly neglected raied bed next to the house. There are several species of annuals - oliander, pin oak, maple - that have been growing there and cut back for years - they all have multiple shoots comming from a common root. I sprayed Round-up on the leaves to no effect.

I also need to find out how to get rid of these stumps.

I live on a street that runs east and west, so the sun hits my yard all day. I still would like to plant flowers, but I am afraid that too much sun will hurt them. What kind of flowers can I plant that will thrive in all of that sunlight?

Hiya,
I live in Philadelphia (but am not sure which zone I am in in case that's needed) and Last spring a neighbor gave me a few iris' which transplanted with no problems. I planted them in the exact clumps in which they were provided, and they have since bloomed and faded for the season. My questions are as follows:
1.)One clump has tripled in size, can I split this clump to help fill out the bed more? If so, what is the recommended method as I border on having a black thumb?

2.)If I am able to divide, when is the best time to do so (am hoping now as they are done blooming to the best of my knowledge) to minimize the chance of killing the plants?

Thanks a bunch :)

From what I understand, if you water at the wrong time you could promote mold growth.
