I have a big oak tree that suddenly the leaves all turned brown except for one branch that is about 3 feet long. I live in a new construction area and my home is less than 2 years old. It was green all last year but this year the leaves came out green but turned brown about a month later.

If anyone has any REAL advice or a web site I could use to find out about the tree I would appriciate it.

Please no answers like "water it" or "sounds dead to me". Only real answers.

I have two larger, older bushes, and they both only flowered a little towards the top of the bush. I was told to prune them back and I did a few years ago but I might not have done it right cause it didn't make any differance the next year or any year after. Is there a special way to prune them or something else entirly to do to make them flower?

There are green spots/stains on the branches of a tree and various shrubs. I don't know what kind of plants they are, but I have at least 4 different kinds of bushes. they are all planted close together. The green is moss colored and is splotchy and pretty flat. It looks kind of like the mold that forms on bread.

I would like to know not only how to build it, but what to put in it to begin. I think that you need to "layer" the first stuff you put in, but I have no idea! Please people who have done this give me some tips & websites to check out.

...is this something I should leave to the professionals, while I watch, drink in hand, or should I attempt to do it myself? And if you suggest I do it myself...where do I even begin?

I cut down some holly bushes in my yard and I am unable to dig them up because the root system is so complex. (They were quite old!) Now I have stumps sticking up out of the ground. Any way I can kill them without hiring a stump grinder?

My flowers are blooming but can't bring them in the house, as the leaves are totally eaten up and ants are crawling on the flowers, despite weekly use of ant spray, etc.
