I made my own hanging baskets about 2-3 weeks ago with very basic plant like inpatients and petunias and the plants are still green but most of the flowers died. Will more flowers bloom or are they done? I thought I was watering them accordingly but we did have a major heat wave for a couple of days last week and recently it's been a bit cooler.

We have tall people in our family so I was thinking of getting 2 twin XL mattresses but they are hard to find, and I'd like to get good quality for a reasonable price. (In other words, they should last 5 years at least).
But now, I am thinking a queen sized bed might be a better idea because they're readily available, and so is the bedding.

Our bedrooms are not too big.

All the chillis are yellow but they wont turn red and a couple are shrivelling up. I recently killed a load of them green bugs with soapy water, could I have overdone it with the soapy water? Can it kill the plant or stop the ripening process? Or is it possible that these chillis simply dont go red and I should pick them now?
