Aquarium, do it yourself, cheap materials, other creative solutions?

are you going to be making it all yourself like the walls of the aquarium out of pieces of glass? it can be done but the silicone used is very expensive ! you will also want to make a template to hold your aquarium for 24 hours while the silicone dries. all this can be done but is very costly and time consuming. i hope you have a few very patient friends that can help give you a hand or 2 !

For gravel you could use color glass. Break bottles, boil in water for a few minutes, and cool and use that.
Make sure not too have too many sharp edges.

Go to Dollar Tree and get greenery for plants.

Find old figurines around the house to put in, make sure they are all cleaned well.
