I still have ice cubes being made by the icemaker that smell and taste like garlic. Is there a remedy for this? Thanks!

Dump the ice cubes and make fresh ones. You may want to change or add a water filter to your icemaker as well. Put an open box of baking soda in the freezer to absorb any odors.

Do you have garlic odors in your refrigerator? The air circulates through both cavities, and any odors in the fridge can permeate to the freezer.

Also check the line that goes to the icemaker. Do you have a line filter on it? Does it need to be replaced? Unhook it from the icemaker and pour into a glass. Does it smell like garlic?

Good luck!

Dump your old ice cubes and start fresh you can also get a freezer purifying filter at Home Depot... It also make the water taste fresh/cleaner if you have a water dispenser as well.....

Try cleaning the freezer with baking soda and rinse thoroughly .. baking soda just about takes any smells away.. you can use it in the microwave and sprinkle on your bed and once vacuumed makes the room smell much fresher and its inexpensive to buy!
