I just noticed my leather recliner has been rubbing against a window seal. Some of the paint rubbed off onto the recliner. What can I use to remove the paint but not damage the leather?

I was just really curious. It's like when you buy a new shirt and inside your shirt, there's a small sticker that sticks onto the tag and it says like "inspection #30" or whatever the number is. What does it mean?

Which is more cost effective? Should I just leave the a/c on all day at 75 or leave it off and when I come home from work, turn it on. Which one saves energy? When I leave it on all day, it cycles on and off. When I leave it off, the house reaches 78 deg and it has to cool back down to 75 or 74

Ive just brought a house with a garden (never had one before - hense the question!), I have a small patch in the corner that doesn't get any sunlight, and as a result the grass has almost disappeared.
I want to put a bench there and some shingle, however I wouldnt mind having a few large pot plants there also, is there any that can survive without sunlight?
Thanks

Hope someone can identify these flowers. We planted some mixed wild flower seeds and these were some that came up. Transplanted them as they were being smothered by the others. They are red, pink, and purple flowers and they are about 15" to 20" tall so far. Here are some links to pics.
Thanks.

I'm thinking about redoing the floors in my house and don't have a lot of money to spend so I was thinking about maybe doing it myself. Have any of you redone your floor using tile or carpet/ which one was easier? did actually cost you any less in the end?

In my home I need an extra room, but my living space is all taken up. Unfortunately I don't have a full basement, it's a "Michigan" basement with not much room. The walls are uneven, and the ground is uneven. All I really have down there is my washer and dryer, some storage, and a furnace.
What I'm wanting to do is add living space down there. Even if not much, maybe even just 20 square feet. What could I do to the walls and floor if anything to make it possible? Thanks!
