In my home I need an extra room, but my living space is all taken up. Unfortunately I don't have a full basement, it's a "Michigan" basement with not much room. The walls are uneven, and the ground is uneven. All I really have down there is my washer and dryer, some storage, and a furnace.
What I'm wanting to do is add living space down there. Even if not much, maybe even just 20 square feet. What could I do to the walls and floor if anything to make it possible? Thanks!

You could section off the size area you want and concentrate on the leveling of the floors inside there. Walls could be evened up with firring strips and drywall. One problem I see is that most codes require a certain size egress window in basement living spaces.

All the luck to you, I've seen the system installed at a friend before and it looked great. unfortunately I dont know where you can just buy them without installation especially since in canada, you can barely find one to install let alone sell it seperately to you, good luck
