my dog chewed up a black pen and there is an ink spot about 3in by 3in in my tan carpet, please help

you could try OXYCLEAN its removed most stains ive used it on.

the only thing i know that will remove ink is hairspray...and i don't think it would work in an area this big. it dissolves the ink, but it will spread out and you don't want that.
try calling some carpet cleaning companies...and ask if they can remove it from the carpet.
i'm sorry this happened. dogs are like children. he didn't know it was going to hurt anything. he needs to chew (raw hide is good for this) as it is the nature of a dog.

Well i will tell you , in my experience ink the single hardest thing to get out...
I have had many instances trying to get it out to no avail, shirts, pants, towels...
Maybe buy some industrial carpet stain remover, but i found anything i got that pulled up the ink, just spead it out....

Rubbing Alchol will work..You apply it let it sit and DO NOT RUB use a clean towel and blot the stain out... Keep applying the alcohol and blotting and it should come out... Once you have most or all of the ink out...Try using regular shaving cream and water to coax the remainder out of the carpet...
