If it's a water-related problem, it could very possibly be as simple as the soil in which you planted. The best stuff is either worm castings a.k.a. vermicast, or else GOOD QUALITY potting soil. They both time-release water and nutrients to your plants to make sure they get what they need when they need, thereby avoiding problems like the one you are in right now. you can find this soil at www.1800TOPSOIL.com. They're national, so they may have someone local for you. Good luck!

don't add anymore fertilizer, water, or anything..... leave the plants alone for the next three days, water once a week and trim off all dead looking parts! u might want to flush the area with plain water for the first two days only! the plants should recover once all the fertilizer has been flushed from the area! give it time

Brown leaf edges are a sign of uneven watering. Lift the pot, light = dry, aerate and water. Heavy = wet, allow to dry out. They want full sun. good luck
