I know this sounds crazy but it really works. Just spray some WD-40 on it and put a paper towle under it to absorbe what goes threw. the candle should come right off then just wash as normal. TRUE STORY!!
Good Luck!

You will need some papertowel and an iron.
Place paper towel underneath the linen and on top. This will keep the wax from melting onto your ironing surface and from getting onto your iron, for the most part. You will need lots of paper towel for this. Set the warm iron on the wax for a few seconds at a time, allowing the wax to soften and absorb into the paper towel. (Sometimes I use cheap towels that I buy for one or two dollars from walmart or a dollar store.) When the paper towels or towels are full put down new ones. If the wax leaks onto your ironing surface simply place a papertowel on it and put the iron on it. The wax may get on to your iron but it will be able to be wiped off because the iron is hot.
Good luck.

Unfortunately not all of the wax will ever be gone, thus if the candle wax is colored, the stain color will ever be present. Try freezing it hard so as to make it become brittle to peel or break off.
If that does not work then:
Take a dry hot iron HIGH heat and some paper towels folded over. Place the towels on the bottom of the fabric and some on the top of fabric. Rub iron on to paper towel to melt the wax and make it adhere to the paper towel, so pull towels off while warm to peel off excess wax. Good luck!
