Many manufactures of RC boats say "Do not use in salt water".
Does this apply to a swimming pool chlorinated with a salt system? The salt is broken down into chlorine.

The other day I found a dead rat lying in my backyard on a concrete step. It was next to the basement door which is not underground. There have been a number of rodents digging around this area. There is a tunnel going under the house, and somthing dug under the door. one neighbor has horses and the other feeds the birds by throwing seed on the ground.
What may have killed the rat? It was intact and I didn't see any wounds
What can I do about the rodents?
