Those aren't bumble bees-they're carpenter bees. If you are able to buy insecticidal dust for them -that is the best treatment. But I imagine a residual spray will do if that's all you can buy. Just go to any garden center or hardware store and read the labels.( The dust is best because they lay their eggs in those holes and the dust is long lasting -plus it gets on the adults better as they move through the holes.)Keep after them they can do some damage to your house. They seem to like to come back to the same place year after year too.

A Yahoo search for "carpenter bee eradication" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 144 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek.

Good luck with your search.

Don't kill then they are supposed to endangered. Just remember only two types of animals can smell fear, the other is dogs.

Call someone and check what kind of bees they are before you go and kill them.

Have an expert come out and remove them. Look in the yellow pages under "pest removal."

Use a smoker and spray it whenever you go out on the deck.
