Check Postal Regulations first.There was a big controversy around my town a few years ago. According to regulations the mail-box post has to give or break when hit at 15mph or higher. If it doesn't you could end up with a law-suit against you.

A mailman can't LEGALLY place something on your mailbox devoid of suitable postage on it..that's actually a federal offense if somebody pursued it..this is barely a baby or so doing a realistic shaggy dog tale, or probable an extensive chum messing with your head..Your fortunate..I even have lost 2 mailboxes in 6 years from youngsters crushing them with rocks...I desire they could have in simple terms in simple terms positioned them interior the mailbox
