Well It really depends on what on how many time you want the cleaner to come in; and the amount of work you're expecting to have done. there are cleaning companies that charge a set rate to come in and clean; and, then there are people that work by them self the companies supply the cleaning materials; and, they are for the most part licensed; and insured. the person working for them self will come in and clean; but most times you'll have to supply the cleaning materials; and they charge by the hour. My advice to you would be to go with the cleaning company. For example "Merry Maids" they're are very good; and quite reasonable. they won't just come in and clean they'll come out to see your house first, decide what it is that you want; and then set the number of day's that you want them to come in; and then tell you how much it will cost you. then if you fell like it is more than you want to spend. You could put an add in the paper for a house keeper , but in this day and age be sure that if you do go that route that you require that person that you hire to be bonded.as for how much its going to cost you, what ever you are willing to pay by the hour; but remember when you set the wage you're are willing to pay that how much that cleaning person is willing to work for depends on how much housekeepers are making in the area where you are located.

I clean homes for a living and worked for 2 different companies the first one was a popular cleaning company and they charged 16.00 per hour per girl and there were usually 3 girls I then worked for a private cleaning company and they charged 12.50 per hour per girl and did just as good of a job you just were not paying for the name. For a basic clean in a home your size which is dusting ,sweeping ,kitchen, bathrooms ,floors,it should not take more then 2 hours to 2 and a half hours with 3 girls maybe a little longer the first time and maybe a little less after the first time.Hope this helped.

It depends. You do have a lot of rooms and out here in Los Angeles they would charge $20 $25 an hour from an agency.
Are you going to have windows done, deep cleaning, detailing like chandeliers, fridge, stove and so forth then expect extra charges.

If it's a one time cleaning, it would probably take two days and cost $200-$300. Maintenance cleaning would probably be $80-$100 per week on a house that size.

I believe it where you live. If it's a large city then it's around 25.00 an hour. If you live in smaller town 10-15 an hour. They don't to windows(outside), they don't baby sit, and they don't wash walls or clothes. Your best bet would to be ask around. Ask your friends and neighbors. I did housework for over 10 years. All the people I worked for were either related to each other or friends.
