My sons use their bean bag chairs to lounge on while watching TV and playing video games. I notice that the chairs smell like cat urine. The bean bag chairs have a fabric cover. What can I wash them in to get rid of the smell?

This beast is a gas 6 burner 2 stove range with a griddle. It was made by South Bend probably in the 1920's. I would like to know: 1.what I should clean it with in daily use & 2. What I should 'Spring clean' it with to make it shine (or some equivalent, for black cast iron!) Thanks for any advice in advance.

I just got a pool and I have been running my pump about 3 hrs every day, keeping it chlorinated and giving it shock treatments about once a week, which is about all the time we swim in it. It holds 3000 gallons of water. We had heavy rain the last couple of days so I had the cover over it and when I just removed it I saw the water was green. HELP!

the run of wiring is 95% indoor (about 30 ft), and only a short distance will be run outdoor to the tub (the outdoor portion will be placed in a conduit)

I hear if you pour rock salt in your toilet that it will keep the roots from growing because tree roots can't grow in salt water.

I do not have sofisticated equipment here. Sometimes water turns brown when standing in the basin for a while..The old pipes were galvanized iron. the set up is about 20 years old.

My 6 yr old has been trying to grow a venus flytrap but it wont get any bigger. It will sprout 1 or 2 traps then they seem to die back before they get big enough to even catch a fly. Then they grow 1 or 2 more and repeat the same cycle. Any ideas?

I bought this beautiful skirt that's 100% Rayon material, but it has a thick elastic band that holds it up at the waist. Well, I had forgotten that it was dry clean only and hand washed it. It seems that the elastic had shrunk, because there's extra fabric around it, and it bowed. Now when I try to wear it, it will bow, twist, and pull up the longest layer of the skirt, which then exposes well..parts I don't want exposed. Is there any way of saving this skirt or have I messed it up for good? Thanks.

I have a 1.5 ton condenser and a first company furdown evaporator. has a cap tube. the coils inside and out are clean. the system has had a deep vacuum pulled, and is charged correctly (weighed in ). the head pressure is 200 psi, but my suction pressure is 85-90. there are no driers on the unit. and I can't see any obvious restrictions. It sweats back good but is only blowing out 63 degrees. any Ideas?

I live in a town centre flat which is listed & I cannot replace the windows. The noise coming in the windows is deafening in the morning & I am looking for a way to reduce the noise without it costing me a fortune.
