Ok, I went to the Doctor's on Monday and he told me I hade Pharyngitis. so he put me on Amoxicillin. Well I am on my placebo pills and I suppose to start my period actually tomorrow (Thursday). My antibiotic shouldn't kick my period back, should it? I am just curious to see what people think. Thanks for any help!

I'm overweight, and I thought I heard somwhere that the pill doesn't protect as well for an overweight girl as it does for a normal weight girl (i'm about 40 pounds overweight for my height).

We do use condoms on top of that, but sometimes they come off. He never "busts" inside of me either.

The reason I'm asking this, is because i'm about 13 days away from my "placebo pills" and my breasts are incredibly tender. I can't even lay on my stomach because they hurt so bad. Sometimes, before my period i'll get tender nipples, but nothing like this. And even when I get to my sugar pills, it still takes about 2 or 3 days for my period to start, so i'm about 16 days away from my next period. Is this just early (really early) PMS symptoms, or could I possibly be pregnant?????

no matter how happy i try to be there is always something that will bring me down during the day but today nothing out of the ordinary has happened and it's just suddenly come over me.

i thought maybe that it wa to do with the fact that in sept 05 i had an abortion, but it's not a guilty feeling like i normally get, it;s just a lump in my throat.

I'm in work for another 2 hrs, what can i do to make sure i dont cry?

apart from the obvious health probs,why do smelly feet(even other people`s ) seem to smell just like gorgonzola,or any pongy cheese??it might put me off eating any pungent cheese as the smell of THAT might remind me of smelly feet!!!

I had already posted this question late last night but I'm just doing it again to see if any one else can answer or help.

I just started taking birth control 3 days ago and I already have some of the side effects listed with the pills. I am taking Aviane. I basically only felt nauseous some yesterday and my breasts are a little tender feeling today.

Does anyone have any feedback? I'd really appreciate it!

It's probably my 6th day of my period. Which is normal for me since I have long periods. I'm 13, a virgin, height 165 cm (5'5) and weight 43 kg (96 lbs) Recently started school. Now the thing is I had dark brown period for the first three days or so, now i'm having lightish brown period. My periods are always quite irregular, but the in between cycle days are 20-30 days. I had my period for 1 year and a half. Last period I had lasted 5 days quite heavy and red, but for 4 days or so it was lighter , and brownish. What I am having now, is it just light period, irregular period? Or is it something serious? Should I go to the doctors and be worried?

is this true?

my blood type is O negative so I cannot receive blood from any group but my own type, however, others can have my blood in the form of transfusion with no problems whatsoever.

Therefore, does this mean that if I become pregnant and the child's blood group is a different group to mine, I will become ill?

Im curious about the pill.... I know it varies and there are different pills etc but in relation to that.. How much weight does the pill usually make you put on? Is it hard to lose the weight/not gain the weight? Where do you usually put it on? Do you get bigger boobs without putting on weight anywhere else? How common is this? If you get the pill that clears acne, how well does it do it? And will it clear it everywhere, eg face anddd back? Any other stuff to add would be helpful! xx

I am currently on the Depo shot, which I get every three months. But I have been told by a friend that, if I'm on it too long, it can harm my ability to have children in the future. Since I'll be in college for at least another two years and want to start a career before I have a kid, I'll probably be on birth control for another two years or so. What is the safest method (patch, pill, or shot)? I already have my reservations about the patch (due to irritating side-effects my sister had) and the pill because I'm afraid I'll forget to take it. But, if I must, I'll give them a shot. Also, would it be a good idea to periodically switch up methods or something?

i would like a sexual health check up but not for any particular std or anything just a check up to cover everything, i have only have one sexual partner but we are using the pill without a condom so id feel better just to check everythings fine but im not sure where to go 'cause i dont want to see my doctor, but the gum clinics ect seem to deal specifically with std's and unprotected sex so where do i go for just a check up ? and what do they do exactly ? x

A virgin! At 31! Isn't that crazy?? I am 18 and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend yesterday and I think he used baby oil for lubrication and I started hurting a little bit after having sex, I was starting 2 burn and feel irritated and itchy and now I can't stop scratching, my vagina is very red and sore and I have a lot of chunky white discharge. Can somebody give me reasons for why this could be happening? Or do I have a yeast infection? It's probably just an allergic reaction right? is baby oil bad to use ?

by the way, the discharge is odorless, my vagina stops hurting if i dont think about it but as soon as i touch it , it starts burning and itching again. when i clean my vagina and get all the discharge out ; it doesn't come back for a while. i dont know what to do. also; my boyfriend has never cheated on me or had sex with anyone besides me and vice versa so i know i dont have an STD. I NEED HELP !

HELP! I don't know what to do about my boyfriend. He never listens to me when I have problem. He just turns it around and makes whatever problem I have into his problem and makes the BIGGEST deals out of nothing. It's gotten to the point where he'll yell at me and just put me down for hours at a time with none stop phone calls. Then after, he'll act like none of it happened and he goes back to not being mad. But if I start to cry or talk about how hurt I am by the things that he says to me (i.e. calls me very bad names, says vulgar things about me, says horrible things about my family), he won't listen to them and instanly gets upset. I don't understand how he can be an amazing boyfriend one second, and the next a complete and totally emotionally abusive prick. andfor some reason I can't make myself break up with him and it's just so hard that I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I'm downing with no way out. HELP ANYONE>

I went to my doctor today because I have a lump in my breast. I've had it for awhile & was told previously by a different doctor that it was a cyst but lately I've been having a little pain in the breast. My doctor thinks it could be a blocked milk duct but she wants me to get a mammogram & ultrasound done just in case. I also have a little clear & milky white discharge if I squeeze the nipple. She said I could still be lactating but I haven't been breast feeding for 18 months. Anyone had anything like this happen to them?

I had gastric bypass surgery about a year and a half ago, I am 22 weeks pregnant and before my surgery was a borderline diabetic. My OB had me do a glucose tolerance test that my me really sick....I told them it would and that I couldnt drink 10 oz in less the five minutes but they said I had to. I am really frustrated because I feel they don't understand that I am different and cant do certain things like other patients. He hasn't had other gastric bypass patients so he has no idea. My question is what kind of alternative testing did you or someone you know do instead of the glucose test, since I have to have another at 32 weeks and also how much weight are you or did you gain. There aren't very many resources for pregnant women after gastric bypass so any help would be great!!!!

The ultrasounds show that it is not getting any larger (2 cm) but it is staying the same and it is very painful. Has anyone ever had one this long that actually went away on it's own without surgery or anything? Thanks.
