I am 18 and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend yesterday and I think he used baby oil for lubrication and I started hurting a little bit after having sex, I was starting 2 burn and feel irritated and itchy and now I can't stop scratching, my vagina is very red and sore and I have a lot of chunky white discharge. Can somebody give me reasons for why this could be happening? Or do I have a yeast infection? It's probably just an allergic reaction right? is baby oil bad to use ?

by the way, the discharge is odorless, my vagina stops hurting if i dont think about it but as soon as i touch it , it starts burning and itching again. when i clean my vagina and get all the discharge out ; it doesn't come back for a while. i dont know what to do. also; my boyfriend has never cheated on me or had sex with anyone besides me and vice versa so i know i dont have an STD. I NEED HELP !

Ooh, baby oil is a big no-no when it comes to lubricant. Mostly because it's not water-soluble and harder for your body to clean out. Sounds like your body got severely allergic to friction and the oil right after sex and then developed into a full-blown infection. The chunky white discharge and the itching together makes me think it's a yeast infection for sure. The fact that the discharge is odorless and you've been sore makes me pretty sure it is. So I'd either go see a doctor or go to the store to get some cream specifically for that. If it were me, I'd try the cream and if that doesn't relieve it for 1-2 days, I'd see a doctor. No sex until the infection's over! Trust me, you don't want the infection to be prolonged because you didn't wait 'til the infection to be completely over. Good luck :).

This sounds like the symptoms of a yeast infection but if you have never had one then you will need to go to your Dr. to make sure. You probably need to go to make sure you are not having further trouble from the baby oil. I understand that some people use baby oil but it is best to use a lubricant such as Astroglide or KY jelly. Also, PLEASE do not go out and buy or use a douche. Any Dr. will tell you that this is very harmful and unhealthy even though many do this and think this is a healthy thing to do. It essentially just flushes the bacteria up more only to add more chemicals and cause more problems. I hope you are feeling better soon~

The discharge is may be because of semen coming out from your vagina which normally happens. The itching is likely because of the baby oil you used. wash your vagina with spirit or savlon two three times it will be OK and if not check this with your Geyne. In future never use any oil based lubricant always use a water based one.

This could be related to a yeast infection but the only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

its candiasis.

go get a bot of vaginal wash from the pharmacy.
if after a couple of days, the itch and discharge still persists, see a doc and he might prescribe u vaginal pessary. tablets to be inserted into the vagina. be sure that this goes off, cause candiasis can lead to infertility!

jsut make sure to keep the vagina clean and dry as much as u can - especially after sex :)

You are probably allergic to the lubricant used.
