I'm overweight, and I thought I heard somwhere that the pill doesn't protect as well for an overweight girl as it does for a normal weight girl (i'm about 40 pounds overweight for my height).

We do use condoms on top of that, but sometimes they come off. He never "busts" inside of me either.

The reason I'm asking this, is because i'm about 13 days away from my "placebo pills" and my breasts are incredibly tender. I can't even lay on my stomach because they hurt so bad. Sometimes, before my period i'll get tender nipples, but nothing like this. And even when I get to my sugar pills, it still takes about 2 or 3 days for my period to start, so i'm about 16 days away from my next period. Is this just early (really early) PMS symptoms, or could I possibly be pregnant?????

many times a pair of million% in accordance to maximum OCP producers. If the pill is taken properly it rather is only about impossible to get pregnant. key words indexed right here are properly and just about. There are situations of people getting preg at the same time as supposedly taking the pill, yet timing counts and that's why the docs aid you be conscious of to take it on a similar time widely used. If no longer the hormone point in the physique starts off reducing and you may grow to be preg. wish this helps.

The overweight thing IMO is a myth.

If you have sex, no matter what you use as contraception, you could get pregnant. Using pills AND condoms are the best way to go about it BUT you still risk the chance of getting pregnant.

NOTHING is 100% except abstinence.

People have gotten pregnant on the pill, using a condom, and on the pill while using a condom.

It could be early PMS, it could be pregnancy symptoms.

Of course its possible, but it doesn't seem too likely.

Busting condoms does indicate they aren't being used correctly so that "99%" effective rating the claim isn't accurate ... but unless you know of a time when they busted AND there was semen present with them, that's probably OK.

Yeah, most drugs are less effective with heavier people though most are usually designed to be sufficient within the normal population. I assure you that 40lbs overweight is WELL within the normal population from a drug manufacturer's point of view.

Its far more likely that there are other hormonal events taking place ... go see your doctor.

the chances are very slim but if in doubt, take a pregnancy test 7-14 days after the date that you should have started your period to get an accurate result.

Dear, go ask a doctor, and well if you´re doing all that you shouldnt worry at all...Zero chance. Might be a psychological pregnancy, it may happen you know, but go talk to a doctor, the best thing to do.
