It's probably my 6th day of my period. Which is normal for me since I have long periods. I'm 13, a virgin, height 165 cm (5'5) and weight 43 kg (96 lbs) Recently started school. Now the thing is I had dark brown period for the first three days or so, now i'm having lightish brown period. My periods are always quite irregular, but the in between cycle days are 20-30 days. I had my period for 1 year and a half. Last period I had lasted 5 days quite heavy and red, but for 4 days or so it was lighter , and brownish. What I am having now, is it just light period, irregular period? Or is it something serious? Should I go to the doctors and be worried?

I don't think i have Anemia since I did recently get a blood test done (during a cold) and things seem quite normal... I am underweight though.

Its nothing to worry about. It just means your coming towards the end or the start of a period i get it all the time. If it Carry's on bothering you n if you want to put your mind more then go n see your GP. I do promise you that it is nothing to worry about. Hope this helps you.

Brown blood is just old blood and it can come at both the start and end of your period.

It is normal for some women to have this. I would definitely let your mom know as well and also your doctor whenever you have your next check-up for additional information.

ASAP go to a Doctor, then, for blood test (Hb. content). As per your symptom, you are suffering from Anemia & also less weight. So, it is not a normal case, if am correct pl. infrom me later on.
