The Period is usualy on a 28 day cycle right? I was wondering if it is 28 days from when you start or finish, because I started yesterday, and I am traveling to Brazil on August 9-19, and I'm too scared to use a tampon when I go swimming, so will I likely get it while I'm in Brazil?

I have a big weekend coming up. I just had my period 2 weeks ago and IT'S BACK!!!! I'm getting really fed up with this whole irregular business. Anyways, is there something I can take or do naturally? I don't have time to get to a doctor for the pill or anything. PLEASE HELP if you can.

I am looking for information on breast reduction. I currently have a 34DD. This has caused deep grooves in my shoulders from my bra straps, back and neck aches, discoloration of the skin where my bra hold my chest up. Not to mention the fact that no matter what type of shirt I wear, my breasts make my entire upper body look larger. I'm slightly petite at a size 4, and they dont fit with the rest my body.

I was looking online and found two options:
A) Surgery
B) A hormone Pill

Can someone help me with ideas on cost? risks? procedures? doctors in FL or NY?
Also, any personal experience would help.

There is a girl at work (honestly, not me, I am not silly enough to haveone of these scares)

The doctor put her on the pill and told her to take it on the first day of her period, she took it 5 days into the period. She has been on the pill now for 6 days and the condom split last night.

Should she get a morning after pill?

Is there any way to postporn a menstral cycle. I have heard that eating things will make it come faster, but is there anything that can be done to make it later.

Hey, ive got this awful, itchy, painful rash down there...ive had it for like 4 days now and it hasnt got any better at all. Its awful I can hardly walk. I don't know what to do. I have sprayed it with the shower head with realli cold water for almost half an hour and it still hasn't made a difference...plz plz can somebody help me or give me some advice..I really dfon't wana go to the doctor or tell my parents i will be so embarrassed!!

When i go pee, right afterwords it feels like i have to pee really bad. Kinda like when you have a bladder infection. It's been going on for about a year now and i just wondered whats going on. I don't like to talk to my mom about things like that so don't tell me to tell mom or a doctor plz. I'm 13.

Alright I'm 20 and I’ve had my period for the last 11 years on schedule and everything... first off I know I’m not pregnant.. so don't even start that crap.. And two I have a dr. appt in two weeks and I’m going to ask this I just want to see if I am the only one or something.

Okay so I get my Period like clock work. Once a month every month and since I started taking the pill (about 5 years ago) I have started the same time the same day as the pills should make you do.. My question is that like when I was younger my periods were really heavy & bad and even so once I started the pill.. now they are hardly bad at all and I get by with using "lite" tampons for 6 hrs. this has been like this for about a year but I guess I never really noticed it.. so I was wondering has anyone else experienced this? also anyone else experience the "lite" period? Just wondering! Thanks!

I am having my period sometime this week, however i'm also going on vacation with my friend and her family! i've never used a tampon before and i try. but it seems like idn the tampon just wont go in. when i push it, it wont go in. i've tried it at least 20 times so i can get used to a tampon and i dont want to not swim on vacation! im really upset so please will someone tell me why tampons just dont go in for me?! its like idn. it just wont go in. i need help. so i'm on my period and i dont know how to use a tampon yet. today is the first day, and i have to go to florida on saturday. everyone swims in florida, right? so i just want to know if it hurts to use a tampon for the first time? i tried on my last period, and got the tampon all the way in me, but i just could push the cotton in without me crying from the pain. my mom told me that my vagina had never stretched that far before and it takes some time to get used to. i want to be able to swim in florida, but i don't want to be in pain while i use the tampon! does it hurt the second time you do it? and does VASOLINE help get it in and make it not hurt as much? please i need some advice. i am really worried.

P.S. please don't tell me what tampon to use, i already have the gentle glide SMALLEST size, and don't tell me to read the directions, cause i do it right. JUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ABOVE

I was diagnosed with an abnormal pap smear CIN2. No I have not had a pap smear in 1and a half years now. Am I at higher risk of developing cervical cancer now that I had CIN2, becasue I do nnot feel I need to get anymore pap smears done. I am 38 and am going thorugh pre menopuse. My last period was one drop of blood a few months ago, and nothing since. My mother went thorugh early menopuse at 34. I get discharge. But I do feel that that 1 drop of blood was my body telling me it will not be long beofre my periods cease. Anywa please tell me if I am at higher risk of cervical cancer becasue of my history, as I do not get pap smears anymore. Thank you, Leanne

Im 13 years old and my cousin (same age but boy) always trys to hump me like it be on the computer with my other cousin in the basement where the guest bedroom is and he would try to hump me on the bed i try to stop but hes way too strong for me once he held me down and put his hand up my shirt i started hitting him and screaming but he never stopped im so uncomfortable and i already tryed talking to him. hes taller and stronger then me so everytime i try to get out he holds me back.

ok, so my period is 2 months late and I am wondering why. I did pregnancy tests (blood and urine) and they came back negative so I know it's not because I'm pregnant. Has anyone had this happen and if so, what was the reason. I'm just asking so I can go to the doctor's with some questions. They don't usually seem very helpful nowadays. They just say don't worry and maybe prescribe some pill. Oh and I'm 28 so it's not because I'm young. My periods are normally very regular and never this late.

Hey my girl friend has 40 D size breats and she's only 14. She told me she wants breasts reduction casue she feels her breasts are so big and heavy that they cause her back pain. and want to get a blood test to check my hormone level. I am 38, and my last period was one drop of blood and that was it .. My mother went thorugh menopuse at 34. I got my period a couple of months ago if not longer. Before that I did not have a period for 3 months. Now since I also had CIN2(abnormal pap smear) diagnosed in 2000 I have had pap smears regulary, uo until one and a half years ago. I do not to want to get it done anymore I hate them.What are the chances of abnormal cells returning if you have alreay had them in the past? Can things change in 1 and a half years> I hope not. I get a bit of discharge, but that one drop of blood a few months ago was more than likely spotting as my periods almost over for good. Yippe. Anyway I want to ask is my risk of developing cervical cancer higher now since I have already had CIN2 in the past. As I said I do nto want to go and get anymore pap smears becasue a part of me tells me there is not need to get it done. Any helpful hints people

I am TTC and saw my normal endocrinologist today (not an RE) because I had big issues with my insulin & blood sugar. Well that is pretty much under control but the last bloodwork I had said my testosterone levels are like double what they should be. She says my metformin should bring that down but I don't think it is.... what are some side effects of such a high level in a woman?
