Sounds like a bad yeast infection to me. It's nothing to be worried about and you should tell your mother( assuming you're younger). You can find products to relieve and treat the infection at any drug store. In the mean time, you can try this home remedy..make warm salt water, sit on toilet, spread labia and pour( or if you have a water bottle that squirts use it), over your privates. It may sting a little if you have a bad infection, but repeat this a couple times a day and it will help kill the yeast and therefor relieve your itchiness.
HOWEVER, if you're sexually active ..you better go to your gyno to be checked out..let's hope it's just a yeast infection.

There are quite a few things you left out that we need to know. Are you sexually active? What were you doing or what had you done right before the rash?

Rashes can be caused from lots of things. It could be a heat rash. It could be an allergic rash like if your mother has changed detergents or something like that. It could be kinda lick jock itch. It could be many things. I know it's embarrassing but you should tell your parents and go to the doctor.

You could go to the doctor WITHOUT telling your parents, meaning less people get involved. But I'd definitely see a doctor so you don't end up putting some topical cream on that will make it worse. If you really don't want to go, try a mild topical steroid like hydrocortisone which should relieve some of the itchiness. But fear of embarrassment never did anyone any good.

It is probably yeast. Do not be embarassed as this is what the doc went to school for. How can help people if you don't go see him. He has seen it all before and heard it all before. Tell you mom you have any itchy rash in the vaginal area and need to see the doc. Go now and get it taken care of. Don't be embarassed as seeing the doc is a normal thing. He is looking to help you and doesn't care if you are white, black, thin, fat, short, old or young.

How embarassed would you be if you didn't talk to your parents or doctor until it got much worse?

Depending on where it is, it could be nothing. You're alittle vague. It could be as simple as razor burn if you shave or a heat rash if it's along your bikini line.

If you're sexually active then you may need to get an std test.

Talk to your parents. Or an adult you trust. Or get a friend to go with you to a Free Clinic or Planned Parenthood

Put benedryl cream if it is infact a rash. If it is an STD you should go to the docter immediately, because most STD are treatable as long as you get medical help a.s.a.p. I know this could be embarassing but you might need to go to the doctor, so you do not make the problem worse.

It sounds like an STD and you NEED to see a doctor. Don't put it off, some STDs can lead to infertility in later life, others are deadly unless treated. Dont panic, but do go see a Dr before you have sex with anyone else.

Running it under the shower head reminds me of a line from shawn of the dead. "its ok margaret, I ran it under a cold tap."

If you have been having sex or have had sex then the rash could be a STD. If you haven't had sex before, then tell your parents about the rash. But, you might need to tell your parents about the rash even if you have been having sex because it could turn into something even worse, or could spread.

You are just going to have to get over being embarrassed! You have an infection and need treatment. It's not going to go away on it's own, so you are just making it worse! Tell your Mom for God's sake and get it take care of!! Sooner or later you will have to get an exam anyway, so just go get it over with!

It could just be a yeat infection which almost every woman will get atleast once in your life. You need antibiotics to get rid of it. I'd recommend seeing your doctor... you'll be happy you did.
