Women's Health - July 2007

From a guy's point of view,, we seem to associate that the mood,, moody behaviour on the part of women is directly related to the PMS, that time of the month. I understand that it can be very painful but is the grumpy mood directly associated to that particular time of month,, three to five days or do women get upset and in a bad mood because it is caused by pain or both? Ladies, give me some of your personal views on this. By the way, I actually feel bad that you suffer such days, month after month after month. Believe me, you my have my respect, not any pitty at all, so please don't take it wrong.

Ok so I know I don't have herpes but I have a lesion that continues to appear on the left labia majora, far out like almost near the fold of my groin. It looks and feels much like an ingrown hair but never resolves. I've even tried to pick out any possibility of an ingrown hair with sterile tweezers, but I can never find one and just seem to make it worse. It will disappear but always returns near the same area and it's bigger than your standard ingrown hair. It doesn't hurt. No puss or scab or anything that would lead me to believe it to be an std of any kind. It's bothersome because it is starting to affect my self esteem. Anyone have a similar experience that could lend some advice? Thanks.

No offense to male doctors that are in this field. I dont like them because they are rude. and the think they know whats best for women. i dont think they know what they are doing. Thay dont know where to begin when us women have cramps and periods and what we go through. i had a doctor (well he was a resident) and he tried to tell me what he thought was wrong with me. clearly i have had a UTI before and he tried his hardest to tell me otherwise.. So here we are arguing what we think. so then im can you go get someone in here that knows what the heck they're doing? and then he gets all mad and storms out the room like a child... has anyone ever had this problem or similar to this? tell me what you think. No dumb answers

even if she is at a healthy weight for her height?
will it affect her menses or make her periods stop at this percentage of body fat?
i'd like to slim down just a bit (and STILL be within my healthy weight range), and tone up to get my BF% below 15%, but i'm afraid it would affect my menstrual cycle or anything else...i was told that most supermodels, swimsuit models, female athletes and ballerinas have stopped getting their periods because of their really low body fat.
please advice?

Hi, I am 56 and things have changed a lot but my daugther is 28 and may accidently be PG with her 4th in 6 years. She in her first 3 PG"s was so so sick all 9 months. nauseous 24x7 and she is getting a bit freaked about facing raising the 3 and being so sick and they live in a single wide, so sorrry. My fiancee and I have had a fantastic sex life, however till recently it has gone down hill and we dont know why. We are both sexually aroused, yet no matter how hard we try she doesnt get wet and she complains of pain. Even when she tries to arouse herself, it still doesnt work for her. We have been using lubricants, however this is not ideal as it should be natural that she gets wet.

Months ago she complained of a burning sensation, which the doctor diagnosed as a normal infection, which was resolved through antibiotics. However she experiences nothing like the previous symptoms, just pain and the doctor can never see anything wrong.

This is a big problem for us, yet we cant see what could be the problem. There is no issue of 'cheating' where my fianciee or I could attract diseases/infections etc.

I would be greatful of any help you could offer.

hey this is kind of really embarrassing i had a paranoid feeling i had left a tampon inside as i could feel something so i investigated to find its not but my cervix is quite swollen and slighty opened i have booked a drs appt but cant get in for a few days any suggestions as to what it could be?
