Hi, I am 56 and things have changed a lot but my daugther is 28 and may accidently be PG with her 4th in 6 years. She in her first 3 PG"s was so so sick all 9 months. nauseous 24x7 and she is getting a bit freaked about facing raising the 3 and being so sick and they live in a single wide, so sorrry. But I know if I can compile a list of sugggestions that worked for you, she can try them. She is more in to natural approaches but would love to hear them all. Thanks ever so much.

There is a thing called sea bands. You wear this bracelet on your wrist. My Healthpartners pharmacy sells them so you could ask yours.

I have to admit that I'm not sure if this works, because I learned about is after I had my children. But is seems scientists found out that nausia during pregnancy can be caused by eating meat. The solution would be to eat no, or less meat, and more carbonhydrates. Preferably whole grain products.
I cannot say from experience that it works, but the times I recall being sick when PG was when I smelled meat, so maybe there is some thruth in this.
I wish for your daughter a nice, nausiafree pregnancy.

MInt tea or ginger tea could help. I've found relief just from eating minty flavored candy or chewing gum, I prefer wintergreen or spearamint. There are also commercial products to help combat nausea. I recently discovered "preggy pops" that contain ginger root and mint to help relieve nausea.

same here, each pregancy got worse. i would sleep sitting up even early on to reduce stomach acids... now i believe in doing things holistically too. but when it got so bad i used 20mg prilosec, i had been prescribed this before the pregnancy, but decided to stop all meds for the duration.... well it was worth it and safe for me to use once daily 20mg prilosec.. and helped so much... it only works to turn off stomach acids nothing else so it was safe... it turned off acids, wich stopped the nausea. then i felt so much better....

This is a supernatural cure which I wish I had known when I was nauseous for nine months. Baptism into Christ is the cure. In baptism, she is dead to the Law (sexual mistakes), and raised in perfection with Jesus, which means she has never made any mistakes. Her nausea is psychological in origin and this is the most effective cure in that arena, but she must believe in her baptism and in God instead of her baby's father or family to help her believe. Unbelief negates the cure.
