I've heard stories that the first time you have sex it breaks you hymen, and you bleed a little. Well what if you have sex (and your a virgin) but you don't bleed? Does it mean your hymen is already broken? Then are you not a virgin? (were you not a virgin?) Hate to put in another question, but does it hurt your first time?

HI ALL MY QUESTION IS THAT MY PERIOD WAS 5 DAYS LATE IN DECEMBER AND THEN JANUARY IT WAS TWO DAYS LATE AND IM USUALLY ON A 28 DAY CYCLE AND MY "CALCULATIONS" FROM MY LAST PERIOD WAS A 31 DAY CYCLE BUT FROM DECEMBER TO JANUARY IT WAS A 30 DAY CYCLE...SOOO MY QUESTION IS .....IS MY CYCLE CHANGING DOES YOUR CYCLE DO THIS KIND OF CHANGE AND IS IT NORMAL???

I have been thinking of getting an IUD put in. I like how effective it is and how long it lasts. But the more I think about it the more questions I have. Does anyone out there have experience with them? Here are my questions:
How do they put it in you?
You know how it has that string that hangs down? Well, since it gets exposed to your period and other discharge for 5-10 YEARS doesnt it get rotted and gross?
And speaking of the string, how often do you need to feel for it to make sure your IUD hasnt moved around or fallen out or something?

I'm 21 yrs old, and still haven't been able to put in a tampon. A few weeks ago I tried it again in my bathroom just exactly the way indicated on the box and by my friends, and each time I start pushing it up, I get dizzy and start to faint? Is this normal, Will I ever be able to put in a tampon?Does this have to do with toxic syndrome? Thanks

im 13 and i want to be 5'10" because thats model hight i have very long legs(41") and a long torso but im only 5'7" and ive already started my period so will i grow anymore becuase i want to so how tall is average for a woman and will i grow anymore

I take a birth control pill and they are REALLY tiny.


I don't know why but everytime I take it I feel like it gets stuck in my throat..

My dad tells me my body is used to chewing food and swallowing it, and with a pill, even as small as it is, it will rub against my throat and I just have a 'rubbed' feeling. That and I just keep thinking about it constantly.

Because for birth control pills I know you have to take it at the same time each day, but if it's in my throat.. how long would it take to dissolve? is it still effective?

I've tried everything with water to swallow the pill to where it won't rub my throat. Someone said something about swallowing it with pudding...

Could I crush it? Chew it? (I heard it has a HORRIBLE taste, but..)

I just hope I'm not messing up my cycle.

I don't even know if it's really stuck there in my throat,
I hope it went down... who's to know?

I had a normal period that started jan 11. Then I should have started Feb 10th or so but didn't instead I started spotting on the night of the 17th. Woke up the 18th to what seemed to be a normal period then today it's just a brown discharge. I didn't have any clotting or anything but this is a really short period for me. I also have lower back pain, slight cramping with what feels like gas bubbles or something, breast swelling, light headedness, and I am utterly exhausted hence the reason i thought I was pregnant before but the day before I started spotting I took an hpt with a negative result!!! HELP

My mom's 5'6, dad's 6'2.
I started my period at the beginning of last summer.
I was 5' 6 1/2" at the beginning of the year and I'm now 5'9".

I hurt my self in yoga at school and i got home and lied to my parents and said that the youga teacher came and pushed on it and fixed it... THe truth is he didnot even no that it happend? so my dad got mad and called the school yelling at him and so the whole school is involved...principals,teachers,everyone...the teacher knows what i told my parents and knew that i lied to them...his job is being jepradised...what should i do i feel so bad.. my parents want me to write him a note saying the truth and i am sorry...or call him.
