I hurt my self in yoga at school and i got home and lied to my parents and said that the youga teacher came and pushed on it and fixed it... THe truth is he didnot even no that it happend? so my dad got mad and called the school yelling at him and so the whole school is involved...principals,teachers,everyone...the teacher knows what i told my parents and knew that i lied to them...his job is being jepradised...what should i do i feel so bad.. my parents want me to write him a note saying the truth and i am sorry...or call him. I will write him a note but how do i face him everyday with out being so ashamed and nervous? what do i say on the note...I am so sorry...anyways please help and dont yell at me i am sorry and i want help

Ah well stuff happens and then it gets out of control. Just write the note. Say something along the lines of "while trying to tell my folks that it didn't hurt so much I said you'd fixed it to get them to back off me...I never dreamed that they would overreact on you. I am sorry and it won't happen again" All this stupid high school embarassment will fade in a few days or weeks depending on who does what stupid thing in public next. Maybe your Dad needs to chill out because it sounds that he has a short and irrational fuse kiddo.

Why did you lie?? This is a HUGE PROBLEM in young adolescents in school right now is that they lie for no good reason, and this causes suffering for many others. USE THIS AS A LIFE LESSON: Do NOT lie anymore, it only hurts people. I dont feel bad for you at all.... You need to fess up to what you did, and do it face to face. A Note is NOT an acceptable form of apology. This needs to be done face to face, in a mature manner.

I think you should address the principle and offer to put a note up in the teacher's lounge explaining what actually happened. That way at least everyone will know the truth. And your teacher should respect you more for coming clean and wanting to make it right. But, it might take awhile for him to come around.

After class, go up to him and look him straight in the eye. Then tell him your sorry. Tell the principal and all the other mad staff 2. Also, you'll feel good if you fess up. Hope everything turns out okay.

this is really simple...
For every moment you do not look him in the eye and apologize you will continue to torture yourself.
Writing a note doesn't sound like it will satisify that need because it seems like you're not trying to obtain his forgiveness for lying so much as your own.
