Does age have anything to do with the size?

It's not age it's the amount of you flow such as if your flow is really heavy then use a larger one if lighter use a smaller one...it is not good to use one that is too large because you can get Toxic shock syndrome

You want to use the smallest one possible without leakage. It depends on how heavy your flow is too. If its really super heavy go with the larger ones. If its pretty light use the regular or junior sized ones. It is bad to use the large ones when you don't need to. This can lead to toxic shock syndrome. Check out the different sizes and brands and I'm sure you'll find what is best for you. Good luck.

you will know its too big if after a max of 8 hours its still dry or not full use the smallest size needed for youe floe to keep down the risk of toxic shock

Age doesn't matter, flow does, but when I was still a virgin I couldn't use anything bigger than regular because when it started to expand I would get horrible cramps. So if you try one that's bigger and it hurts, even though your flow is heavy, you may be too small for bigger ones.

in my opinion the best brand is playtex soft comfort and they have all sizes try and find one that works for you
