My mom's 5'6, dad's 6'2.
I started my period at the beginning of last summer.
I was 5' 6 1/2" at the beginning of the year and I'm now 5'9".

God, I hope I don't end up 10 feet tall...

You didn't state your age. Which will give us an idea of how much more time you have to grow. Your fathers height is why you are taller than your mother. If you are a young teen I would say that you can look forward to at least 2-3 inches of growth. Stay active to help your body hold the new found growth.
Do not be ashamed of who you are. Instead embrace your self and love you for who you are. You cannot change who you are or who you are going to be. Especially your height.

GOOD LUCK.

Ummm...How old are you???

Most girls stop growing in their late teens. From 14-18 you really ONLY grow a very little bit or not at all. I stopped growing in 9th grade at 5'2. Dont hate your height, you are SUPER MODEL HIGH! That is a GOOD THING!

You know, being tall isnt a bad thing....so you grow taller its not going to hurt you but it is also what comes out of genetics so it could be possible!
