Women's Health - December 2006

I have always been very regular with my time of the month thing. Start and stop like clock work. Now I have big blood clots and cramps so bad it feels as if I'm going to start herouraging to death or something. I spot in between, which is something I have NEVER done since I was a 12 yr. old (& started) I have always been emotional so I'm not sure I'm much worse there. Has any other ladies had these same type problems? Thanks Tam

After much debate, research, money-saving, and endless anticipation, I have decided to have breast augmentation. I spoke of this in a previous question and got many negatives toward the surgery. Now, I AM having it done; the problem exists with my Dad. How do you tell your Dad you are having a boob job? I am an only child, and so is he. We are close, but I can't stand the thought of him knowing about this. I just don't even want to say anything at all, and maybe he won't say anything either when/if he notices. My husband thinks I am acting crazy and thinks I should tell him. He said, "Honey, he's GONNA know!" But I don't want him to. What would you do?

I don't eat right and I wish I would, but I do my cardio at least 3-4 times a week, so what other Vitamins do you recoment I should take? I'm almost 39 if that matters.

I know stretch marks dont to away with any creames or anything, but what are my other possible choices, e.g. surgeries, or lotions that dimisish or make them less noticible. Also if I lose weight, will they be less noticeable? Ladies please give me ANY tips! Thanks!

What, in your opinon, are the best condoms to use that have a balance of durability, longevity, and feeling. After a scare with my fiance, we've agreed to use them from now on. I lost my virginity a week ago and It was really different then I expected. It hurt sooo much and then after i looked down and realized there was blood all over the sheets..I was so embaressed. I dont use tampons (pads) and ive never masturbated so it was really intact, Is this normal?

I started my period about 3.5 years ago and it still hasn't evened out. Right after I started, I gained around 40 pounds (and I wasn't being lazy or eating bad). I have severe cramps and have to miss school and work because of it. I also get diarrhea and headaches. Recently my mom had cysts removed and my aunt had a hysterectomy. Please tell me if it's possible that I have PCOS.

I had my tubes ties about 7 years ago.. If that matters. And I had my period once this month. than 3 days later It came back and now it feels like I am bleeding to death. every 1 - 2 hours I soak a pad if not sooner. And I can walk around and it feels like I am wetting myself. What do I do?

I am thinking about having a home birth because I have no money, I never liked the hospitals, I don't trust doctors, I feel safe in my own home and I don't want my baby taken from me when I am in the hospital. I don't want to have pain killers because it's not natural. I was hoping someone could shed some light on if home birth could be safer than hospital.

Okay, my right breast is a D, but my left is a C! And it's not noticeable when I am fully clothed because I used padded bras to makeup the diference... But when I am not wearing one it seems like a huge difference to me. I am only 18 and the one on the right even droops a tiny bit more... My bf doesnt care but it just makes me feel ugly!

I've read on the internet that it lasts sometimes a few minutes or hours, or it could last twenty four to forty eight hours. I've had pain for four days. I've been debating going to see a doctor because I'm thinking it's not mittelschmerz.

ok,,,,so last week i found a lump.....went to doctor....she actually found a few lumps and was a little worried....so yesterday i finally went to get an ultrasound. the doctor said i could ring her for the results.....so i did. but i could only speak to the lady at reception,,,,she said the results came back fine, no cancer, all is good. but she couldn't give me any more detail than that. and until i go back to the doctor ( which i don't want to do anytime soon as i have spent four hundred dollars in the last week and a half) then i can't actually know what it is exactly...i mean i know i don't have to stress and it's all ok.....but what the hell could these lumps be? they aren't any different when i get my period....they are always the same! any ideas?
