I've read on the internet that it lasts sometimes a few minutes or hours, or it could last twenty four to forty eight hours. I've had pain for four days. I've been debating going to see a doctor because I'm thinking it's not mittelschmerz.

I agree with the few minutes to 24 to 48 hours. Do you have a GYN ? Are you running a fever? Is there a discharge? Call and see what he/she says.

well it is diffrent for everyone but if it lasts for longer than 7 days than diffenetly go to the doc even if you are embarresed
