Women's Health - November 2006

I just had a son, and had alot of complications after he was born. i am going on my 2nd Lap. within 9 months. I've had morphene, and pain killers. That is not something I want to ever have to do, as I don't want to live on medicine. Any suggestions at all (even if it is medicine)?

My question is it true that female can get circumcised too?
A friend of mine told me today that in some parts of Africa they really do so.
Coz African women have large private parts and it may rub to their clothes so they would get exited and might loss virginity that way! So it’s to keep them innocent and pure as long as possible as they told me! And I was like “OMG is that really true “and it looks that it is!

So is it really true or ……………….. I donno? Is it!!!!

im so embarrassed by my stretch marks and i want to get rid of them! what can I do? I heard that laser treatment is the only way 2 actually get rid of them, everything else just fades them. How much would laser treatment cost?

I weigh 202 pounds I'm 15 years old
I'm 5'5 ft
I run 5.6 miles a day and eat 800-1000 calories a day is there any exercises or diets that can help me with my weight I seriously need to lose weight i'm tired of being so huge!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so recently i did gain alot of weight in a short period of time and no it wasnt due to pregnancy, i d prob be happier if it was. I m not worried about the fat, i know i can burn that by getting off my butt and running a few miles a day, but as far as the stretch marks go...yeah that does freak me out. Will they Ever go away!? Cuz they are nasty looking and i was surprised just how Easily i developed them. i thought it'd be harder to get em but i guess it depends on your body. I heard cocoa butter helps, but how much does it really? and how long does it take? Will my skin ever look the same as it used to before them?

I not had periods very long but im going through hell. Theyre not reguler yet, i'm fed up having to carry stuff around with me just in case. I use pad s a lot just in case and they make me sore.
My mom isnt around to ask and i'm frightened my friends will laugh if i ask them.
I really need to use tampons but can't get it right.
Where can i find out more on periods etc? i need to find out things

I've only had 2 shots so far, I'm due for my next shot in January. I've actually lost half of my hair.. and I wasn't informed that this was a side effect until I called today. My hair was really thin to begin with and I'm terrified. Are these side effects permanent?? Or will it grow back? Im definitely discontinuing the shot.

My fiancé doesn't want to use a condom after we're married, but I've had surgery recently, and am not supposed to get pregnant for a year afterwards. I don't want to use The Pill, or anything else that might delay my chances of getting pregnant next year. He WILL wear a condom, if necessary, but I thought I'd ask REAL women their opinions rather than just letting a doctor install an intra-uterine device. I'll appreciate any advice you have...

I'm on birth control, and have been for the past 6 months or so. I normally have my period when I'm supposed to (during the last week of my pills). I had my period last month when I was supposed to, but started what seems to be another one last Wednesday. It's just as heavy as a normal period and came with mood swings, tears, and all! I even took a pregnancy test to make sure that I wasn't pregnant since I've been feeling nauseous when I eat and stuff too. Without stating the obvious of telling me to see my Dr. which I cannot do right now, what could be the issue here?
