You should eat 5 or 6 times a day but eat small portions and keep them healthy. For instance, eat a somewhat large breakfast (wheat toast, banana, OJ and a yogurt) then have a small snack a few hours later (Some fruit or vegetables). At lunch have a medium sized meal (sandwich or a salad and some dairy), and then have another snack in a few hours. Continue like this and don't eat at least 3 hours before you go to bed. The point of this is speed up your metabolism. By eating small amounts in shorter intervals, your metabolism will naturally speed up. You don't want to eat before you go to bed because all of that food will turn into stored energy (fat). If you must eat before you go to bed, eat some vegetables or something low in carbs.

Also, continue running. That is the best way to lose fat and gain muscle (but you have to have a healthy diet as well).

Hope this helps!!
