Things will eventually get better. The best place to go is your Dr. they can suggest many different things ranging from diet to sleep patterns. I had alot of troublke with my cycle when I was younger and I actually went on Birth Control to help get it regular and reduce the pain. Good Luck!

OMG, what memories!!! It sounds like I wtoer your question myself!

Honestly (not to scare you or anything), when I got into high school, girls became a lot more open about talking about their periods - mostly to find out what was normal and what wasn't. There were some girls that got it the same day every month with no trouble, others (like me) struggled and suffered with it every month. The girls that had trouble were very different - some very athletic, some not at all, etc.

I only started getting better when I discovered birth control (or as I call it - period control). However, be very aware that birth control can also affect your body in other ways such as calcium deficiencies and other deficiencies. Just talk to your doctor about the best thing for you and if a vitamin pill will take care of the rest.

Good luck! Growing up can be hard, but you'll be ok.

Facts and Fiction About Tampons
Only use tampons during your period - never between menstrual cycles.

Be sure to always wash your hands before inserting a tampon.

Change your tampon regularly - at least once every four to eight hours. If you can still see white fibers when you remove your tampon, you probably need to switch to a tampon with a lower absorption.

Never use more than one tampon at a time. If you are concerned about leaking, double up by wearing a pad as well, until you are able to find the right tampon absorbency for your body.

Tampons come in light flow, regular flow, heavy flow and often extra-heavy flow absorption levels. There are even junior flow products for teens who are just starting their periods.

You do not have to remove a tampon before going to the bathroom, just be sure to hold the tampon string out of the way, so you don't get it wet.

You cannot "lose" a tampon in your body but you do want to always remove them to avoid any build up of bad bacteria.

i'm sorry hon! Being lady sucks on occasion! It does not get greater effective yet you will adapt. ;) you will constantly prefer to hold stuff around with you. It is going with being lady. Are you close up to any of your individuals mothers? in line with threat an aunt? If no longer, ask to ensure the coaching counselor in school and she or he'll recognize who to speak to. in the adventure that your counselor is a guy, ask to communicate to a girl and only tell them you have questions which could basically be responded by a girl. in line with threat they're going to deliver you to the nurse or wellbeing instructor. they're used to this so as that they are going to understand. your individuals are new to this too so as that they don't have each and every of the solutions themselves. Take care! i'm hoping all of it works out for you!

You need to find someone to talk to, a teacher, a nurse, someone. Your periods will eventually even out with time. When you start you may not have antother one for some time. As far as the tampon goes, start with a regular sized one, and stay with it until you get comfortable.

go to tampax.com or ask a friend. they will not laugh. they r going through the same thing. even an older friend or a trusted teacher could give you advice. every single girl over the age of around 13 has had theirs and knows the feeling. everyone is uncomfortable and hates it. just talk with them. believe me. they will be open to help you!

i don't know what you mean by you can't get it right with tampons. do you mean you don't know how to put them in so they don't hurt? it's quite simple you stick the applicator into your vaginal opening and push the tampon out of the applicator into your vagina.
