Yes its okay but at night you should wear a pad to bed (i know its really uncomfortable). Your period is one of the best ways to get rid of a yeast infection so next time you have one, if its close to your period you should wait it out. Your period will naturally flush the yeast out of your system. But as for the "tampons now"- you should be fine.

The reason it is not advisable to use tampons while using Monistat-3 (or similar yeast infection treatments) is because tampons can absorb the miconazole in the cream and decrease the efficiency of the medication, therefore not effectively treating the yeast infection.

Even though you're using a 3-day treatment, it can take up to a week to completely clear up your infection. So it would be advisable to wait for at least a week before resuming tampon use. If you would like a more proficient answer, call up your local pharmacy and ask a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.

Should be fineto use now, but if you continue having the problem, soon as your period is over, go thru another round of the Monistat. If that doesn't solve the problem, follow up with your doctor, you may need something a little stronger.

If the literature on the packaging doesn't say, then check Monistat's website...

Hold off as long as you can, for your health...or just wear a tampon to work or school (for example) and pads at home...

I think your supposed to wait 7 days after the last one before you can use tampons.

you can use tampons, just dont leave them in for longer than 2-3 hrs or you could get a different vaginal infection, bacterial vaginosis

It's a little soon...it's your call but you ought to just deal with the pads to discourage a re-infection.
