I have recently stopped talking the Pill b/c of the weight gain I got. I still haven't received my period and it's been atleast a month since my last period. I've heard it takes a while to have your period again after taking the pill; also it only takes one day to get rid of the Pill out of your system. What's going on?

I know that some people bleed when having sex for the first time. I thought the same but it happened again for the second time and the pain was unbearable. Please do let me know if its any thing serious or am i just over reacting. My boyfriend is very understanding and is concerned about my health. I had a hysterectomy in 97. I had my hysterectomy due to being pre-cancerous and also menustrating for 28 days each month for over a years time. Everything was removed except my right ovary. Since my surgery I have had significant weight gain, constant back and abdominal pain, and 9 yrs. later I still have no feeling where the scar is. Now I go back in for surgery once again in a few days to have my right overy removed and to have exploratory surgery due to all the scar tissue and other damage due to my hysterectomy. In the last 4 weeks I have been in so much pain, that at times it is unbearable. It is mainly in my lower abdomen and on the right side, but also continues to my left side and lower back. Sometimes it feels like labor pains. I was told that I had 6 cysts on my right ovary and that I have an 80% chance that this is ovarian cancer. I have had numerous tests done recently and alot of unexpected weight gain? Will my body?stomache ever get back into shape?

Last month my period was late by 8 days. But I am usually REALLY regular, I get it on the 21st of every month at 10:30 in the morning! Last month I got it on the 28th, and I was just wondering since my period was was the same day every month I figured I had a 31 day cycle, so how long should I think that my cycle is now? If I use a 28 day cycle I should start it today, and if I use the 31 day cycle I should start it on the 28th. But mymonthlycycles.com is now saying thay my cycle is 33 days because of the late period. So which one should I go by? I'm just really confused and I like to know when my period is coming so I'll be prepared.

I came up with the idea to make a tampon necklace (just attach a few tampons to a regular necklace) to indicate PMS in an acceptable manner. I wore one with wrapper on it (and so did my 16 yr old cousin) for a little while on Thanksgiving. Of course I am mostly kidding around, but do you think it is over the edge (crazy) or do you think it is funny?

I am 32 years old. I got my period this month which lasted 11 days and ended last week. I just got it again this week. (2 periods in one month). I am on my third day. I know I am not pregnant. (Not been active for a year). What is could be causing this? I would love advise from a doctor or nurse.

For the last three nights, my daughter has complained about having these sharp pains, going through her head and they seem to come at nighttime. She said the pain is so bad that she can't sleep, ibuprofen and any other pain medication, doesn't seem to work. It's starting to worry me and I can't figure out, why it only comes at nighttime, what could it be and should I wait before taking her to the doctors?
