LOL ...LOL @ "Zoe Doll, YOU HAVE A YEAST INFECTION!!! Don't worry, it's fixable. Go to your Doc. I'm not even a girl, but I'm telling you, It's a yeast infection. "

Zoe, it's okay....it's a common problem with woman.....it is prob. just a yeast infection, you just want to be seen as soon as you can b/c they can get pretty terrible!, and if you can't be seen my a dr this weekend, use some over the counter medications to give you some temporary relief. Hope this helps!
Yet another fabulous female problem!! ( lol j/k)

If you have never had this before it is best to go and see a Dr. first before you do anything.
Thrush is a fungal infection... If that is what it is then you can get the proper creams in the drug store.
Make sure a Dr see you first before you try any treatment as it may not be thrush and then you would be using the wrong treatment and the problem could get much worse...

Thrush (oropharyngeal candidiasis, or OPC) is a yeast infection that develops in the mouth and throat and on the tongue.

Thrush is most common in newborns, infants, and older adults, but it can occur at any age. In healthy newborns and infants, thrush is usually not a serious problem and is easily treated and cured.

What causes thrush?
Thrush occurs when a yeast called candida grows out of control. Candida normally is present in small amounts in the mouth and on other mucous membranes. However, under certain circumstances, candida can grow rapidly, causing thrush.

Thrush can be a recurring problem for people who have chronic illnesses or who take medications that impair the body's ability to fight infection (weakened immune system). Since these people have difficulty fighting infections, the fungus that causes thrush can spread throughout the body, causing life-threatening blood or organ infections

Stop eating breads and rolls that are made with yeast. Eat a lot of yogurt. Go to a health food store and get a supplement --Threelac--anything with Acidophils in it. You can eat yogurt and take Acidophils every day of your life and keep from getting those infections.

Is the area real itchy & burns? Does the discharge resemble "cottage cheese?" If yes, then it is probable that you have a yeast infection. Your doctor can diagnose for sure.
