I came up with the idea to make a tampon necklace (just attach a few tampons to a regular necklace) to indicate PMS in an acceptable manner. I wore one with wrapper on it (and so did my 16 yr old cousin) for a little while on Thanksgiving. Of course I am mostly kidding around, but do you think it is over the edge (crazy) or do you think it is funny?

very crazy, over the edge, but if your family knows the type of person you are i am sure they understood you are one of those types of people...j/k. its funny, i wouldnt get it until you explained it to me but who knows someone else might.

Well, I think it was a fun thing to do. I actually did something simular when I when into menopause and had some left. I put them on the edge of a hat and wore them for fun. Not in public mind you, but around some girl friends of mine. Everyone got a kick out of it. I told them that I didn't want to waste them. They look like fringe, sort of.

It is a little strange and most people would consider it vulgar but I think that a woman's menstrual cycle is still treated as taboo but we can show sex on t.v... whatever.
