okay so i have this hard little lump on my right side of my labia, it doesnt hurt much, i went to the gynocologist last friday and she said it was a cyst, ( she said it was from a hair follicle that never grew out ) now my question is have any of you ever had a cyst down there, and if so did it ever go away on its own or did you have to get it drained by the doctor, i know it sounds gross but it can happen to anyone (the doctor said to only go back if it starts to hurt)

i haven't been able to sleep at night for a loong time. i'm tired and my eyes feel like they need sleep, but when i lay down i just lay there for hours and don't sleep. what do you think could be causing this?

I have been experiencing severe pai in my pelvic region for some time now and I am concerned that I may have endometriosis. I have Pain on both sides and also in the middle the pain gets signifigantly worse durng my period. I'm in pain and nothing helps!! I can't see a doctor at the moment because i just moved to a new city and the doctors office won't see me until my medical card is changed over and that could be another month! I can't take the pain anymore. If there's anyone out there who has endomitriosis can you please tell me what your symptoms are??

I have had pcos, I believe, since I was 16, maybe earlier, and I have been reading other questions about PCOS and weight loss. I am 19 and weigh 230 lbs. I keep gaining weight and dont have any idea of where it is coming from. I really dont eat much but the weight just keeps adding up. I am really scared and confused. When I asked my doctor about having PCOS, she gave me a pap smear and thought that I had HPV. She really didnt help me except for putting me on birth control. I decided to do something about it for myself. I ordered the PCOS diet book by Colette Harris today. I was also wondering if I should contact my doctor about metformin and glucophage. I dont know which one could work or would work. I dont want to get pregnant. I just want to loose weight, loose the excess hair, be healthy, and have a more positive attitude about my appearance. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am really desperate and hate being fat.

The past month, my schedule has been a mess, we have to be @ work between 10 AM and 3 PM, but as long as we get our 40 hours a week it doesn’t matter what time we come in. However, besides having many other problems I found out I was pregnant even though I was on birth control. I have an ectopic pregnancy which is putting me in danger so the doctor recommended having an induced miscarriage. I have been given a shot about a week and a half ago and some medication for this procedure. Things have not been going well, because nothing is happening. I am not in pain, but I constantly get cramps and have nausea; therefore, I have been coming in at work a little later than expected (between 8 and 9 AM). My supervisor’s attitude has completely changed since last week. I am a hard worker and I do recognize I am young, but I am learning and I have not missed one single day since this incident. I don’t know what to say to my supervisor, I can’t tell her about my situation. What should I do?

[[[TMI warning in advance!]]] Ever since I started menstruating at 11, I've had very irregular periods (I'm 24 now). I will often go for months in between periods, and when the period finally does come, it's oftentimes thicker, browner, and lighter than a regular flow. Several OB/GYNs have said that I need to get on the Pill to regulate my cycle, since it's not good to go for so long in between periods. I don't really want to interfere with Mother Nature though, unless it would be really bad for my body not to. So which is better: using synthetic horomones to regulate my cycle (and dealing with the associated risks), or just letting Mother Nature do her thing (and dealing with the associated risks)?

Well, here's the deal. I'm 18 and really feel uncomfortable talking to my mom about this stuff. I was just wondering what the average size of a vaginal hole is, considering the girl is a virgin and hasn't used a tampon or anything. I have been getting a little worried as of lately. Can any of you women see the "hole" itself, in a relaxed position? The thing is, when pressure is exerted on mine, then it slightly opens up. It also looks small. So, what's the average size supposed to be? Mine looks to be about the size of a straw, but when it stretched to that size, it begins to hurt a little.

I will go to a gyno when I am 21, but right now, I am just curious. Anything is appreciated

Does your body get used to a specific type of deodorant and make it stop working? I have been using the same kind for a while, and it seems to make me smell worse than if I hadn't used any at all. Is this normal? Should I just switch deodorants?

I had a pap smear on Thursday of last week.Last evening I started spotting--and it has gotten heavy every day after that. I am on the borth control pill--so I know when my period is coming.-No I havent missed any pills-and I am not pregnant.
Is bleeding that long after a pap-normal? What could be some of the reasons for bleeding?

well about 4 years ago i was going to the restroom and realized that my urine smelled really bad this went on for like 6 months until people told me to drink water so i did and since then it doesnt smell no more. its been four years now but never went to dr . i was too scared. but as of now im allways getting my pep smears and nothing bad has happened only the first time i went to my first pep smear that they found chlymidia. yes that was aftermy smelly urine . you think that was the cause of the smelly urine?

OMG! Ok, first you had to have read my other questions about my friend to understand the whole situation. OK anyway, so I was getting dressed, and was just about to call Jessica to let her know that I was going to go bowling with her, when I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door, and was bombarded by Jess! She almost tackled me with a hug. She was sobbing, and saying she was sorry. Sorry that she put me through all that worry, sorry that she hadn;t listened. I just sat there, hugging her back. We sat on my living room couch and talked it out. She said she just wanted to be thought of as cool, as popular. I looked at her and said "Jess, you ARE cool! You dont have to be all sexually active to prove that to some guy!" After all was settled, she went back to her house to get her stuff together to go bowling.
