Monistat 3. I just got over one and that stuff really works. You get 3 applications plus some anti-itch cream! It goes away in 3 days. There's also Monistat 7 (7 days). It's not cheap, but it's definitly worth it! Plus, if you do end up going to the doctor, they'll just tell you to go and get some Monistat or they'll prescribe some meds.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Go to your local pharmacy or wal-mart and buy 'Monistat 7". This is to be used at night when you go to bed. Follow the instructions on the leaflet inside the box. Make sure you use this product every night until it is gone. If your yeast infection is not cleared up, then you need to go to your doctor as you could have a seriouse problem that the monistat 7 does not take care of.

If you treat it with over the counter creams you will get more immediate relief from your symptoms but if after treatment you are still suffering you should see your doctor as it may not be yeast. They have a prescription pill for yeast but then you have to pay for MD visit and med and it does not relieve the symptoms as quick from past experience.

Go to the doctors! Don't waste your time putting those type of questions on the Internet. You need medical advice and not just for your yeast infection!!!!!

you need to go to the Dr. IT could get worse and cause you to have problems.... There should be like a planned parenthood or a clinic. If you do not have insurance they can help you.... Drink 100% cranberry juice and take a warm bath with some Epsom salt. you can even buy it a walmart.. the salt will help get rid of the bacteria... it will not cure it but it will help it.
