If youre monogamous and dont want to have any more kids for awhile Id get an IUD. The new ones out there are so much better than the old ones and then you wont have to worry about taking a pill or putting on a patch. If youre still wanting to have more kids in the next couple of years then Id go with the nuva ring. I really liked it. I found that I had almost no pms side effects and my periods were shorter and lighter. Check with yours dr, she'll help find a method that is right for you.

The best method of birth control would be to see your doctor and get the Depovera shot. This shot lasts for 3 months and you will have to go back for another one (every 3 months) It is easier to get the shot as a lot of women forget to take the daily birth control pill.
If you do not want anymore children then the other alternative would be to have your tubes tied and it is a simple surgery, usually same day surgery. Then you would not have to worry about any birth control or having any more children.

Well, it depends on if you are finished having children first of all. If you are, then tubal ligation or vasectomy are the best options. If you aren't, then it depends on what you want to use. I used the Nuvaring, and I think it's a great option because of it's ease and few problems. I think Depo is a bad idea, due to the side effects many women get. I would also look into an IUD if you still want another child down the road, but not anytime soon. You should speak with your GYN to determine which option is best for you and your family. Good luck!

your husband gets a vasectomy
that's the best option - it's an out-patient, non-invasive surgery, and it eliminated the mistakes of forgotten or broken condoms, and keeps you from being peppered with hormones and chemicals for decades
Second best - getting your tubes tied. THis is a much more invasive surgery, but if your husband isn't willing, this is a more permanent solution, that again, keeps you from using any of a number of hormone chemical contraceptives from here on out.

I would suggest the IUD since it will last for about 5 years. That's what I'm going to take after I have this baby.

NuvaRing...unless you would like a stron method, such as an IUD, which is a long-term form of birth control.
