How long after taking birth control pills do they become effective? can u get pregnant while on the pill?

I am always wondering if there are people do the same as me. I never sit on the tiolet seat in public tiolet to piss (I am a girl). When I have to sit, I always cover the tiolet seat with tiolet paper first. Are there many people do the same? Or does it matter?

I have endometriosis on my left uretur but I have alot of pain on my right hand side. I got diagnosed by a laparascopy and historoscopy. My doc said that I most likely have endo in my right ovary but to check I would have to have another surgury and they would have to cut open that ovary thus reducing my abilities to have children. They did do a thermalgraph that showed a lot of heat coming from that area. Is there another way to determine if there is endo in my ovary?

My sister had a balloon, and it had helium in it, the helium must have went bad because do you kno how you breath it in and it changes your voice, well i inhaled it, and I about died because I think the helium went bad. I quickly drink alot of water, do you think I will be okay?

Which pill provides excellent protection against pregnancy, as well as NO weight gain, lighter, regulated period and can be taken with anti-depressants?
If you know one that fits some of the criteria or if the one YOU use is good, please tell me. I'm seriously considering going on the pill (or patch).

I was walking home across a housing estate, it was just getting dark and I heard a woman shouting 'Help Help'. I ran to were she was on a small patch of grass and a youth aged around 20 had stopped on his bike and was violently trying to grab this ladys handbag off of her. I could see clearly that the woman was in in danger and she has blood on her face (He had punched her in th face before I had arrived). Without thinking I ran at him and pulldozed him to the ground (I didnt know at the time but he fractures his rist when he went over). I grabbed him and gave to the woman my mobile phone to call the police. I held him there for a few minutes until police arrived (Being called every name under the sun by him of course). When the police arrived he was arrested and put into a cop car. The police and lady thanked me repeatedly. The police got into the car...and then a few minutes later they got back out and told me that I was under arrest for assault as the man said he's pressing charges
