Sure it is. Mark Twain once said "Gentlemen, everyone of us masturbates. Who says he doesn't - lies". I knew a psychologist who said that it is normal, but if you do it too often it is a sign of a weak will.

I would question your step dad's motives. To me it would have been more acceptable if you had talked it through with your mother.

OH JESUS... it's ok if you aren't in a relationship because if you do it when your husband's at work, you won't want to have sex with him and he'll be like, "What's taking you so long?" and I'm like, "I masturbated to internet porn and now I can't get off"... so, yeah... if you're single, I encourage it.
