ok my mom has breast cancer and she is going through chemo right now and she also has a big drinking problem. her doctor and i both told her she needs to stop but it just gets worse. i have tried to talk to her and many more things but it wont work. what can i do?

As a black woman and marathon runner, the sun does enough damage to my hair...so there is no way that I can press it everyday to get it straight. I appreciate my roots and love my curly hair, but some days I like it straight and others I wear it curly. As such, I've opted for very very light relaxer and do not leave it on for more than 10 minutes----that's with putting it in and everything. But I wanted to know if I coluld be affecting the brain growth and blood system of myself and my unborn child. I always base my hair and eat only organic foods - whenever some ridiculous craving doesn't hit (smile).

So I'm just trying to be certain that I'm not harboring a negative environment for myselgf and my child. My GYN is non-black so I'm not sure if she'd understand my hair. So if there are any sisters out there who are marathon runners, and are pregnant or have been and still want to be fit and fabulous, please help me.

If the chemical calcium hydrox is harmful, please help!

I get UTI's once a month and the doctors cannot figure out why. I do everything they say to do.(no baths, cotton undergarments, ect)
Does anyone have this same problem? I am now thinking this is a much bigger issue and maybe it isnt common and thats why the doctors keep missing it. I have had my kidneys tested ant the hospital about a month ago and they came back normal. Any suggestions or answers would be much appreciated!

For like a month I been making love with my husband and something that did not happen before is happening. Every time when we finish his penes gets red and he saids that it feels like a burning sensation but in the outside skin. Sometimes it looks like little red bumps very small like 2 or 3. Can that be an infection or maybe we are taking too long having sex, or can it be the condom? We started to use it just in case, but still the same. or maybe Im doing too much oral sex? do condoms makes the vagina very dry? and also the penes? we are not using any lubricating cream or anything. I went to my doctor he saids to me that I have a mild infeccion, some "discharge", he prescribe me antibiotics and a cream for the vagina about 2 weeks ago I finish everything. Can that be the infecction again?

Me and my husband have tried to get pregnant for several years now and our only hope is to do IVF. We were in the middle of the IVF cycle when my husband decided to put it on hold because I was too moody from the IVF drugs. Since then i have decided that I dont want to go through with the IVF anymore but have suggested sperm donor and he wont give me an answer BUT he doesnt want me to have the hysterectomy that my doctor has suggested becuase i keep getting pre cervical cancer. I dont want to keep having the surgery to remove the precancer everytime it comes back. I would rather have the hysterectomy and be done with it, but i have put it off for 3 years now while i wait for my husband to decide on if he still wants to have a baby or not. Should i keep waiting and keep getting checked every 4 months for cancer or should i say you have had enough time, im having the hysterectomy?

I take Cryselle, and I have taken 8 pills, and never miss or forgot within those 8 !!!! Question is Today, i had unprotected sex, and I was wondering if i should be fine.. I started the pack when my doctor told me too and that was the sunday after my period!!! I read on the package of my birth control, that as long as you take it for 7 days, you should be fine!!! And on some website i read that too, but then there are website's that say you have to take it for a month!!! I wasn't sure!!! Please only answer if you know for sure..
