You will probably be caught unaware the first time but you might notice some cramping. Every woman's body is different and once you start having your periods you will notice that it may take you a few months before you can start to recognize the signs. The other signs you can look for are if your breasts are tender/sore or you might get lower back pain.

talk to your mom or some other family member find out how old they were when they started that way yu will open the door to a convbersation that will help you understand better about your body and what to expect everyon is different and that is a personal thing something for mothers and daughters to discuss or sisters or a grandmother too. you can always go to the school nurse if you feel more comfortable with a stranger.

Nature will not start with you until SHE is ready!
Smile and be happy, when it starts you will have to be bothered with it for more decades than you will want to.
I bet most females wish they could turn it off or on as they chose to, or wish that nature had a better way of handling this issue.
You might want to go to the library and read up on this event that nature blessed only the females with. Why it takes place, for what reason.

No, there are no "warnings" as to when it is coming. You may feel the hormonal changes for months in advance and still no show of your first period. Just be patient and be prepared, it takes us all by surprise :)

No, honey...it will just one day miraculously arrive. And you will be fussing about it until menopause. Let it take it's time.
