The reason I ask is I have a professor who "speaks out" about vitamins on a regular basis, talking about how vitamins just go right through you, there is no medical evidence that says your body actually takes anything in, And thats why your urine turns colors and smells, is because your body turns it to waste before it has a chance to absorb in you. So quite literally you are flushing your money down the toilet. oh, but he says prenatal vitamins are different, meaning proven medically effective.

Is any of this actually true? professional opinions would be greatly appreciated.


BTW the professor i am refering to is the head of the substance abuse couseling department and he "speaks out" about this when discussing the dangers of pharmacology with relation to substance abuse... I admit talking about vitamins in this situation is a far stretch, and the guy has some very radical viewpoints in other areas so it's hard for me to know whether hes for real on this or not, please help

I have been getting really bad headaches for the past week. I usually never get headaches. I also have cold symtoms. The headaches make me feel really dizzy and light headed if i cough or if i bend down. It feels like there is a tight band around my forehead constantly. Also my hearing has worsened slightly, like when you drive into a tunnel and your ears pop. I have no stress in my life at the min, as i know this can cause this. Nothing has changed in my life recently. Does anybody know what this could be?? Thanks.

My MD put me on Motrin 800's and this Skelaxin stuff because of severe muscle pain and tension in my back and neck. I was in a lot of pain. The Motrin helps, but I feel strange when I take Skelaxin. I've taken 2 doses, and I've experienced headache, severe stomach cramping, a little bit of nervousness or irritability, and then of course I feel sleepy, light-headed, and totally "out of it" when I've taken it. I've noticed I cant really think clearly while on it, it's like I'm confused or something, and my pulse is very slow, a lot slower than my normal heart rate would be. I'm not too sure I like how Skelaxin makes me feel. Are these things normal for this drug, or should I stop using it and tell my MD to give me something else? I definately cant take the recommended 3 or 4 pills a day, I've only taken one for the last 2 days, any more I dont think I'd be able to function at all. What's the deal with this stuff? Are the effects I'm having serious or nothing? Please help.

I do not have pssorisis
but sometimes a scale may form in my ears.

Odd behavior for a three year old boy to display while in the bathtub with his baby brother......... Spent a lot of time with a family member and that family member is not the only one i'm suspicious of..... That person also spent a lot of time with my child around a man whom i know that i can't trust..........
