What is the best remedy of having a toxic goiter? Medication or Operation?

I need help cause my mom has a toxic goiter and I dont want her to undergo in a operation, I dont want her to suffer in pain and I really love my mom.

It depends upon the situation. Is this the same as a thyroid crisis? I had a thyroid crisis after the birth of my first child. My thyroid was very overactive for just a few days. Then it slowed down to normal on its own. Now it is underactive. If it is staying overactive, she may need surgery.

This is a very serious condition. I would say medication but you should really ask your doctor and follow his advice and don't worry. Your mom will be around for a long time
