My 7 year old step son has a problem with hiding empty candy wrappers under his pillow and in his pockets. His mother says she was told it's called hording and she also thinks it's from bi-polar disorder. Well I looked up Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and hoarding is one of the signs of it. I also looked up bi-polar and hoarding is NOT one of the signs. So how do I tell his mom about this? I've already talked to my husband about it but he doesn't want to get into an arguement with the mother. She's one of those people who thinks that she's right about everything and doesn't listen to anyone but her own family and friends. So what do I do and do you think I'm right about what I have found?

Note: This is a BugMeNot account, so i'm anonymous.

I'm a 35 year old male, I just started smoking cigarettes today. I smoked five and a half, half meaning I didn't finish the other one and well I didn't inhale it to my lungs incase anything bad happened to my lungs or I get addicted but I felt pretty relaxed, which I liked.

Anyhow is there any way I can smoke but prevent any cancer? I mean, smoking responsibly like a few every months or days or something or special occasions. Such as taking a few breaks.

I do a lot of weird things:
I think that if I do not do something something bad will happen.
I touch everything I pass.
I re-type words that I spelled wrong in the first place.
I am scared of the numbers 5 and 11.
I am always scared that something bad will happen to my family, and I think that my actions will protect them. I know this is not true, but I do not know how to overcome it! Please help!!! I know there are some ways to stop these actions, but i need some thoughts that can make me feel better. Thank You!

I went to doctor yesterday because Sunday I felt like I was going to pass out. My heart starting racing, I got really gittery and really hot, I felt like my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I felt nauseated. I laid down for a while and since then I still have felt sick to my stomach and my heart feels like it's fluttering. The doc did some blood work and checked my sugar. They called with the results today, said everything came back normal but suggested I cut back on sugars, especially sodas. He said my sugar was 93 and high is 99. I have tried to research this on the net to get a better understanding but I can't find anything. Does anyone know what this means and other possible causes. Doc said if I wasn't feeling better in a week after cutting back on sugar to come in for more testing. Thanks for you answers.

I've been wearing contacts for about 12 years now and i've noticed my eyesight is deteroriating every year..My doctor said after 25 it will start to slow down. Now i'm wearing glasses more because i believe my contacts have alot to do with my poor vision and the decline in my vision. Is there anyone who has researched lasik surgery and/or has had it that can tell me the risk involved, advantages and difference it's made with their vision. I've spoken to my optomitirist and he states it's realtivly safe with very few side effects except for blurred vision at night. I'm very very farsighted and i basicly need glasses/contacts to see not just read. Any advice or info will be appreciated.

Hi,

For most of my life, I have had 2 to 4 hours a day, looking at some sort of screen, be it a Gameboy, TV or Computer.

I now seem to be slightly short sighted, and some writing far away is blurred. (I am going for an eyetest later this week)

I tried on one of my mates pair of glasses, and I could see much clearer in the distance.

Anyway, I was wondering, if the fact I have been 'staring' at a screen, would affect my eyes at all.

P.S I am 13, using my Families account...
