It goes internally into your body. It does not go away but it is actually dangerous to hold gas inside.

it goes the other way. Why you have gas is poor digestion. take a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar Daily and you won't have much if any gas. You won't get indigestion or acid reflux either. strange but true.

It goes back up into the intestines but eventually comes back again. It doesn't go away unless you take some sort of anti-acid medicine.

I dont know the answer to this but i just had to say this is the best question i've ever read! it had me laughing out loud...the answers did too. very original indeed. i never thought about this but it's interesting! so now i know...thanks for asking it! knowledge is power :)
