This is a hard one. Theoretically, you are exposed to sun and other harmful things to your skin all the time. Even bright lights can do damage. It is best to either apply a good blocker before foundation or one that has it included. The rest of you should be protected as well when exposed to the sun.

I'm 37, have lived in Southern California all my life and spend a lot of time out doors. I do wear sunscreen, but really only seriously since I turned 30. I'm 37 now and I'm not all shriveled up or anything. Of course, my mom has smooth skin too, so I attribute it to my genes. Look at your mom and dad to see what your chances are. :)

Although tanning in not recommended, I have used tanning beds for over 10 years. I am currently in my 30's and do not feel that I have "icky" skin. I take care of my skin daily by using quality moisturizers and good quality tanning lotion.

No, as long as you tan but do not burn. If you spend to much time in the sun unprotected you will get "ucky" before your 30s. :)

Not really...it's when that once or twice turns into every week for years that you run into trouble.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best defense against early signs of aging is good sunscreen, used daily.
