I have her booked in to see an ear nose and throat specialist tomorrow - thinks like flushing the toilet or other kids a day care and even shopping centres can be too loud for her - she is 4 years old and just told me about her problems, looking back I can see she has had this problem since birth (I feel bad about not realising what was going on until now) anyway I have written out a list of all the things that seem to effect her to give to the specialist - Im wondering if there are any specific questions I should ask the specialist? Have you or someone you know had these problems? Im just wanting to prepare myself to ask all the right questions so she gets the help she needs.

Its only been the last couple of weeks, but its getting really hard for me to focus on anything. my head feels strange like its heavy and pressure and the rest of me feels kind of sick. It seems to only happen after I eat something sweet. I'm 19 and have never had any problems like this before. Though there is a history of diabetes in my family so I don't know.... Any insights?

Were you happy with the results? Any suggestions on how to look for a reputable surgeon? Any other words of advice?

are impossible to read. I see the words but just can't seem to comprehend (this happens when reading printed articles as well). Are there special glasses for over forty people using the computer? All I know is that what I can do at home with ease becomes a series of mistakes at work.

I work in a retail store that sells custom draperies and bedding. Could it be the large quanity of fabrics emitting gasses? I can barely add 2+2.

Dazed, confused and disoriented,

My GP wrote a letter to get me admitted into hospital on Monday, saying that she wanted a chest x-ray, some blood test and a couple of other things done. I was kept in overnight, with none of the medication that my GP has had me on for the last few weeks, and a nurse took some blood. She also put me on an IV drip saying that I was dehydrated. They took my blood pressure once, it was 97/40, and my temperature was 37.9.
They never gave me the chest x-ray, or any of the other tests my GP had requested.
They then discharged me, without ever seeing a doctor or being told what was wrong with me. Can the NHS do that? I still feel like crap, should i go back to my GP?

Here's the situation...
A man comes into ER. He has been severely beaten, stabbed multiple times, and shot. He is now in shock, but still alive. despite the actions of the ER doctor, he dies after a time, and nobody can believe that he lived as long as he did. In fact, the ER crew is amazed that he was still alive when he was brought in by the EMT's.

Here's the catch...
The victim is a vampire who has not yet turned completely. He died as a normal process of turning, but he will revive and have vampire strength and special powers. And the hunger.

Here's the question...
What tests and procedures would be performed on him while the doctors are trying to save him, and what wierd things would one expect to see from those tests and actions if the victim was a first-stage vampire?

Use your imagination, but make it believable.
